The Stretch Fusion method is my personal approach to corrective bodywork, designed to help therapists understand that the body does not always need just one modality. This training blends assisted stretching, compression, PNF, fascial gliding, mobility work, and intentional hands-on techniques to create a more effective and customized session.

We focus on functional anatomy in a practical way—understanding how muscles work together, how imbalances and compensation patterns can create restriction, what tightness really means, and how to connect what a client is feeling to the areas of the body that may be contributing.

The goal is to help you move beyond simply performing stretches and begin understanding **what the body needs, why you are choosing a technique, and when to adjust your approach.**

  • Functional anatomy, muscle imbalance, tightness, and compensation patterns

  • How to connect client complaints to muscles and areas of restriction

  • Assisted stretching, compression, PNF, fascial gliding, and mobility techniques

  • A foundational full-body Stretch Fusion routine

  • How to build customized routines based on what the body is presenting

This 3-hour, one-on-one training is customized to meet each therapist where they are in their bodywork journey. Whether you are looking to refine your stretch techniques, improve flow, or build more confidence incorporating assisted stretching into your sessions, the training is tailored to your current skill level and goals.

Therapists who are completely new to bodywork will require more comprehensive instruction and should book the 9-hour training option.

A consultation is required before booking so we can discuss your experience, training goals, and specific needs. Weekday and weekend training dates are available and will be scheduled following your consultation.

“You won’t just learn how to stretch. You’ll learn how to assess, think, and build custom routines.”

From Technique to Strategy

This review is long overdue. I’ve been going to Antoinette for a year. That should tell you how good she is right there! Hands down the best massage I’ve ever gotten. Although she asks about any trouble spots before getting started, I don’t really need to tell her bc she can feel them in my body and immediately goes to work on them. I always walk out feeling so much better. And she’s so cool too. Book with her…you won’t regret it

An Unforgettable Experience at Mindful Touch!

My husband and I had the best time during our first kid-free weekend at National Harbor. We indulged in fantastic food, shopping, and holiday activities, but the highlight of our trip was undoubtedly our couples massage at Mindful Touch.
